Florida Panthers Sign Rodrigo Abols

The Florida Panthers announced today that they have agreed to terms with forward Rodrigo Abols on a two-year entry level contract.

The 23 year-old recorded 26 points during the 2018-19 season appearing in 45 games with Orebro HK of the Swedish Hockey League.

Abols  was originally selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the seventh round (184th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.  He played parts of two seasons in North America.  First with The Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League and then Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
