A Florida man who was found in possession of several child porn images allegedly told investigators that he had the images because he “got bored.”

78-year-old Dean Alan Miller Jr. was arrested in December of 2019 after an extended investigation into his web activities.

Authorities say they received several cyber tips of someone uploading child pornography and were eventually able to get a search warrant for Miller’s home in DeFuniak Springs.

When authorities made contact with Miller Jr. they found 19 pornographic images of children ranging between the ages of 2-years-old to 8-years-old.

During a police interview, Miller Jr., reportedly admitted that he uploaded the images saying “whatever I had I got off” and “I guess I got bored.”

Miller Jr. has been charged with 19 counts of possessing photos which included sexual conduct by a child.

His hearing is scheduled for Feb. 16, 2021 and he faces up to  95 years in prison.
