FAU Wins “The Shula Bowl” as Davidson Rumbles for 3 TDs

Another year, another FIU beatdown as FAU wins the Shula Bowl and kept the “Don Shula Award” in Boca Raton!

Lane Kiffin remained undefeated (3-0) vs rival FIU as RB Malcolm Davidson lead the way and rumbled for 3 TDs.

Last season, Devin “Motor” Singletary was able to score 3 TDs in FAU’s 49-14 win vs the Panthers.

In tonight’s classic rivalry game, Davidson matched play in the 17th meeting between FAU vs FIU.

With their 37-7 victory over FIU, Florida Atlantic leads the All-time series 13-4 and has now won 3 straight games dating back to 2016.

The Pass defense for the Owls played lights out as FAU only allowed one score and not a single TD came through the air.

With the win, FAU is now in sole possession of 1st place in the Conference USA East Division as the Owls racked up 579 yds vs the Panthers. The Owls will head into another bye week and then prepare for the UTSA Roadrunners on 11/23/19!

Congrats, Owl Nation!
