Voting is a Vibe Community Block Party

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Payne Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church will host ‘Voting is a Vibe’ Community Block Party ahead of Florida’s primary election to promote voter registration, early voting, and completing the Census on Saturday, August 15 from 12 p.m. – 2p.m.
“We are excited to support this community effort to register voters and increase participation in the census as a form of faithful resistance,” said Reverend Henry E. Green, III, pastor of Payne Chapel AME Church, “Our goal is to register no less than 300 new voters in Palm Beach County and with the support of the mighty historic Northwest, we will!”
The block party is sponsored by the Black Church PAC and Faith for Black Lives in effort to highlight early voting in Florida and the importance of the black vote.
“Even in a pandemic, we must do the work to engage our communities for political power. The faith community must engage in building the beloved community we wish to see,” said Reverend Stephen A. Green, Faith for Black Lives.
