With no live sports to show, ESPN has been pulling major ratings with the 10-part docuseries The Last Dance, which details Michael Jordan’s final season.
Building on that success, the sports network hopes to have another few hits on their hands very soon.
The release dates for three “30 for 30” documentaries will be pushed up so they air right after the Jordan finale.
On May 24 and May 31, viewers can check out LANCE, which details the career of disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong. June 7th brings the Bruce Lee doc Be Water, and a week later there’s Long Gone Summer, which looks at Mark McGwire’s and Sammy Sosa’s 1998 home run chase.
Which other moments or figures in sports do you feel deserve the documentary treatment?
