The Miami Dolphins have broken the NFL record for most total yards in the first five games of a season.
Miami accomplished the task with a full quarter left to go in their Week 5 matchup with the New York Giants yesterday.
Miami’s 2,568 yards beat the record of 2,527 was held by the St. Louis Rams in 2000.
The Dolphins are now 4-1 with the 0-5 Carolina Panthers coming to town this upcoming Sunday before going to Philadelphia for a huge Sunday Night Football match up against the Eagles on the 22nd.
