Hey, this winning thing is fun!
The Miami Dolphins impressed once again on both sides of the ball in their 29-21 victory over the Chargers at Hard Rock Stadium.
The win gave the Phins their 5ht straight overall and improved their record to 6-3, which is good for second place in the AFC East.
And thanks to the Arizona Cardinals last second Hail Mary touchdown over the Bills, Miami now finds themselves down by only half a game for first place in the division. They can tie the Bills this upcoming Sunday with a win at Denver. Buffalo is on a bye this weekend.
But back to the current winning real quick.
Here’s a wild stat, it’s the first time the Dolphins have been 6-3 through their first 9 games since 2001! Yes, that’s right, the Jay Fiedler days.
The winning ways have a real opportunity to continue with at least the next three games as well, considering the fact that Miami plays at the 3-6 Broncos, at the 0-9 Jets, and then home against the 2 win Bengals.
…Just sayin’
It was also another win notch to add to the belt of Tua, who is now 3-0 as a rookie starter.
What is particularly encouraging about this team and this win streak is that it doesn’t feel, or seem like a fluke. This looks like the product of a winning culture being instilled by Brian Flores and company. It feels like we are watching the future of the franchise unfold before our eyes.
And it feels great.
