The Miami Dolphins just made a big hire to boost their defense.
The team has hired former Broncos head coach Vic Fangio as their new defensive coordinator.
Fangio is highly regarded as a defensive coach, achieving top-10 defenses with the Panthers, 49ers, Bears, and Broncos.
The Dolphins fired DC Josh Boyer after the defense gave up the 6th-most points in the NFL.
If Fangio can turn around the defense, can the Dolphins be serious contenders next year?
After speaking with multiple teams about their defensive coordinator position, Vic Fangio has decided to join the Dolphins as their defensive coordinator and officially will accept the position on the Miami staff after the Super Bowl.
