In one of the more surprising moves the Dolphins have parted ways with head coach Brian Flores, according to reports.
Miami finished the season 9-8, including finishing 8-1 down the stretch after starting the year 1-7.
Flores just finished his third season with the team compiling a record of 24-25.
“After evaluating where we are as an organization and what we need going forward to improve I determined that the key dynamics of our football organization weren’t functioning at a level I want it to be and felt that this decision was in the best interest of the Miami Dolphins,” team owner Stephen Ross said in a statement.

According to Jeff Darlington of ESPN, Flores’ relationship with GM Chris Greir and Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa have soured as of late which led the team to make a change.
