Dalvin Cook might be a talented rusher, but he’s in no rush to find a new NFL team.
ESPN reports that Cook might wait until mid-July or later to sign a deal.
The reason? July 17th is the deadline for franchise-tagged players to negotiate a new contract – and that list just so happens to include three star running backs – Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, and Tony Pollard.
Cook, who was released by the Vikings earlier this month, might want to see what kind of money those players get before signing any free agent offers.
The 28-year-old Cook ran for for 1,173 yards and 8 touchdowns last season.
How much money will Cook get? Do you think he will end up with the Dolphins?
