A couple is now facing charges after they reportedly got caught having sex in a car in a very public place.

30-year-old Shawn McClelland and 39-year-old Amber Gormley were arrested last Saturday after a witness found them having sex by the side of the road.

According to the report, the couple were driving along Whitney Road and US 19 in Largo, Florida when they decided to pull over to have sex.

A witness told police that he saw McClelland on top of Gormley and called the police.

Authorities say the couple were in an area where other drivers could see them.

Both Gormley and McClelland now face lewd and lascivious charges. McClelland also faces a charge of processioning a K2.
