Miami To Make a Move For Watson?

As we inch closer to the NFL Draft and smokescreens arise, could Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson’s latest cryptic tweet mean that he is looking to be traded?

Watson fired off a tweet quoting Drake’s “Emotionless” with “iconic duos rip and split at the seams,”

This might be a bit of speculation, but Watson, 24,  couldn’t be happy with the way that Houston traded Deandre Hopkins for a bag of hot fries.

On Wednesday, Watson quoted Lil Uzi Vert’s Wassup – it includes with “Don’t deal with the lies and the fraud.”

With the Texans in a possible rebuilding mode and Bill O’Brien’s seat on fire, could he try to lure draft picks for the star qb?

And that is where the Miami Dolphins come into play. Let’s not forget that the Dolphins gained 2 first rounders and an additional second for Laremy Tunsil in a mid-season trade with Houston.

Will Miami make a move?

There’s no doubt that Watson could be a better fit for Miami than all of the quarterbacks in the 2020 Draft.

Watson is already a proven commodity. The Pro Bowler still has one year left on his rookie deal and the Dolphins could pick up his 5th-year option.  That’s two years of team control not counting the franchise tag.

The Dolphins would likely have to give up multiple draft picks to acquire Watson, including one possibly 2 of their first round picks. However, with two first rounders in 2021, they could be looking to part with one of them to land him.

The Dolphins could send Josh Rosen, a first, and second round pick for Watson. Maybe Xavien Howard will be included in the deal?

Again, most is simply speculation, but if you had the opportunity to grab a sure thing, wouldn’t you?
