Charles Barkley in hot water after what he said about women from Georgia

Charles Barkley is getting backlash on social media for a comment he made on “Inside The NBA” about women from the University of Georgia. While talking about a play  featuring former Georgia and current Lakers’ player Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Barkley said. “[Georgia] the only school in the world that they named their mascot after the women down there.”

Ernie Johnson a Georgia alumnus and host of the show replied, “Oh, that’s so totally uncalled for.” He later said he was “not even gonna dignify that with a response.” Some took the comments have Barkley taking a friendly shot at an SEC rival. Barkley played three years at Auburn and and shows a heavy allegiance to them.
