Carli Lloyd Nails 55 Yard FG At Eagles Practice

Is it time to allow female kickers in the NFL?

US Soccer legend Carli Lloyd might need to be in some NFL team’s training camp.

While watching practice between the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, Lloyd got on the field to attempt a field goal.

Lloyd sent a 55-yard strike through the uprights. She made multiple attempts.

NFL Hall of Fame personnel director Gil Brandt tweeted, “Honestly, I don’t think it will be long before we see a woman break through this NFL barrier. I’d give her an honest tryout if I were, say, the Bears.”

Do you think Brandt’s words will be true? Will we see a female player in the NFL in our lifetime?
