Cam Newton has a new home with the New England Patriots. The quarterback’s one-year deal is reportedly worth up to 7.5 million dollars in incentives.
Newton was released by the Carolina Panthers in March after nine seasons.
The 31-year-old dealt with shoulder and foot injuries over the past year.
Newton joins the Patriots as the team looks to replace six-time Super Bowl champ Tom Brady who now has a two-year-deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
