It seems unbelievable that Cam Newton still doesn’t have an NFL job.
And potential landing spots are quickly drying up with most teams settled on both their starting and backup quarterbacks.
CBS Sports identified three teams that still make sense for Newton:
The Arizona Cardinals might want a veteran like Newton to back up rising star Kyler Murray.
Along the same lines, the Baltimore Ravens might look at Newton to replace RGIII as Lamar Jackson’s backup.
The most intriguing possibility? The L.A. Rams – he could back up Jared Goff and maybe even take over if Goff continues to disappoint.
Why do you think Newton still doesn’t have a job? Should he sign on as a backup somewhere or wait for a starting job to open up?
