In the biggest game to date of the 2019 season, the stars of Florida Atlantic shined brightly as the Owls defeated Southern Mississippi 34-17.

All of QB Chris Robison’s TD passes went to his star Tight End and Mackey Award Finalist, Harrison Bryant. Bryant solidified any doubters on who the Nation’s top Tight End is this season. His 3td’s were a career-high.

Meiko Dotson also cemented himself in the FAU history books as the CB finished the day with 2 ints off Southern Miss QB, Jack Abraham. He now owns a new team record with 8 INT’s in a single season.

The Owls had the ground game going with BJ Emmons finding paydirt twice and the FAU defense forcing a season-high 5 turnovers vs the Golden Eagles.

With the win, FAU advances to the Conference USA Championship Game and will host  UAB in Boca Raton next Saturday. Lane Kiffin and the Owls finish the regular season with a 7-1 conference record and can claim the Eastern Division Title. Make sure to catch all the action right here on Fox Sports 640!
