Authorities in Central Florida say they have arrested two teens who reportedly killed a 21-year-old man and bragged about it on social media in order to gain “street cred.”
The Polk County Sheriffs Department arrested 18-year-old Angel Lobato and 19-year-old JoJo Lobato for the murder of 21-year-old Danne Frazier in early November.
Frazier’s parents first reported him missing on November 4th after he did not return home from work at Publix.
During the search for Frazier, authorities say they located Angel and JoJo driving Frazier’s car and conducted a traffic stop. During the traffic stop, JoJo fled the scene, while Angel stayed. Authorities eventually released Angel because they could not charge him with a crime.
Days later, Frazier’s body was located and authorities put out a warrant for the brothers.
The two were eventually located sitting in a “borrowed” car outside of an auto parts store.
During the police interview, authorities say the brothers confessed to killing Frazier and bragging about it one social media to gain street credit.
The brothers told authorities that they met Frazier when Jojo reportedly suffered some sort of cut to his arm and Frazier tried to help. Eventually JoJo and Frazier began an online relationship and agreed to meet Frazier for sex. Once the two met up, Jojo reportedly stabbed the victim during an altercation and Angel then beat the victim with a bat. The brothers went on to dump Frazier’s body in an Orange grove on Nov. 10th where Frazier’s body was then located by a survey crew in a trash pile.
