Bars allowed to reopen in Palm Beach

Bars, nightclubs, concert halls, lounges and more are now allowed to reopen being that Palm Beach County has moved into Phase 3.

Gov. Ron DeSantis made the announcement on Friday that the state will proceed to Phase Three of reopening.

Businesses such as bars, nightclubs, hookah lounges, cigar bars, concert halls, comedy clubs, and others have all been shutdown since March.

During a news conference, Palm Beach County Mayor Dave Kerner, said “There will not be any business that is not allowed to be open in Palm Beach County as of today,” … “Every business will have the right to operate starting today.”

The state will no longer regulate businesses related to COVID-19 restrictions.

Kerner said the county’s daily positivity rate stands at 2.92 percent, the lowest rate since May 18.
