Amy Coney Barrett Set to Advance to Confirmation Monday

The confirmation of nominee Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court is set to take place Monday.

Senate Republicans voted 51-48 on Sunday to advance Barrett to final confirmation for the seat formerly held by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, who died last month.

The 48-year-old Barrett is expected to easily win confirmation to the nation’s highest court, after moving swiftly through the hearing process two weeks ago.

This is a developing story.
