The New York Yankees have officially made it-well, official.
The Yankees announced on Wednesday that Aaron Judge had been named Captain.
Judge will be the 16th team captain in the franchise’s history and the first since Derek Jeter retired.
On Tuesday, it was also announced that Judge had signed a nine-year contract.
