The Raiders have a new QB on their roster!
The team announced Monday that they have signed QB EJ Manuel as a free agent.
Manuel started his professional career as a first-round by the Buffalo Bills in 2013.
Though he started all 10 games in his rookie career for the Bills, the following year he was benched for Kyle Orton after the first four games of the following season.
The next two season, Manuel found himself serving as Tyrod Taylor’s backup.
In Oakland, if Manuel wants the chance to start for the Raider, he is definitely going to have to fight for it during the summer.
Though Matt McGloin hasn’t decided whether or not he is returning to the Raiders next season, Manuel is up against 2016 fourth-round pick Connor Cook for the starting position.
