Depending how long Wei-Yin Chen is out the Marlins they will need to look to the minor leagues to see who can come up and help the club get past .500 ball.  Chen was out recently due to arm fatigue May 1st got a MRI and it revealed a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament.  They had him coming out of the dugout since he was cleared but, this last Saturday he went to the mound and just threw 15-20 pitches and had to come out having issues with his arm.

It was stated he would most likely miss just one start and said it was arm fatigue Chen who is in his 2nd year deal of a $80 million dollar contract will hurt the Marlins starting rotation with his absence.  The Marlins hill to being over .500 will be harder to climb and with no real ace in the rotation the Marlins call up left-hander Justin Nicolino from Triple A New Orleans to fill the void hopefully he can give quality starts and get this team back on track it’s a lot to ask.
