The Florida Panthers organization has appointed Dale Tallon as the club’s General Manager, along with his present role as the President of Hockey Operations. The hunt is on for a new Head Coach and Tallon will immediately begin the search. “We have the talent to get back on track in a hurry,” Tallon said. “This was a difficult year for us, but I think we learned some tough lessons about what it takes to win consistently in the NHL. With a few tweaks to our roster and the right leadership, I’m confident we can get back to contending for the Stanley Cup next season.”
Tallon has worked with the organization before, while adding players like Jonathan Huberdeau, Vincent Trocheck, Aaron Ekblad and Center Aleksander Barkov to the Panther Roster. The Panthers season ended short of the playoffs this year with multiple injuries and change of coaches, but will be looking forward to the new season.
